Called last night to make sure they would severing Thanksgiving dinner and I wanted to make sure how early I would need to call in advance to get a take out order of the dinner. She said give a little bit of time before picking up and it wouldn't be a problem. When I called today to place a order the lady said that the Thanksgiving dinner was take because buffet and I couldn't place a to-go order. I asked to speak with and was rudely she was the manager. I don't understand when you have opportunity to sale one plate TO-GO to an all you can buffet the math would make since to me but..I guess I am not the manager of a Shoney's. This explains why most are going out of business.
Food tastes old. It's not terrible, just not what you'd expect from a Shoney's. Wait staff are amazing. Completely capable and super friendly. Very family-friendly.
Great (manned) breakfast bar. Hot and fresh. So many choices for any type of eater.
The service, and the food was incredible!!! Our server was right there, BEFORE we needed something!!!! I had the salmon with the sweet heat glaze, baked potato, and seasoned green beans!!!! It was soooo good, and for dessert, I had the strawberry ice cream cake
