I highly recommend working with Brad if you need a new (or used) vehicle. And, taking the drive to Fayetteville if you're nearby. We live in Nashville and had to drive an hour but it was well worth it in the end.
Brad Rhodes was able to get us a great deal on the used minivan we really wanted. Being in somewhat of a rush because our prior minivan suddenly died and had to be replaced, I contacted Landers McLarty and was connected with Brad. He was very knowledgeable about the vehicle and, when we couldn't agree on price initially, he stayed engaged with me. He followed up with me every other day. This was a nice change of pace from other dealerships who I felt I was chasing (which I shouldn't have to do when spending as much money as I did). He worked with his management and we agreed on a price. However, I couldn't pick it up on the Saturday. Brad met me at the dealership on Sunday (they're closed and it's obviously his day off) with the paper work ready to sign and the van prepped and ready. Took 5 minutes and we were off.
My Lander McLarty Toyota experience was excellent. Brandon Allen treated me with the utmost respect. He showed me several cars and all their features. He explained the buying and trading process to me with great detail. He was patient and wasn’t pushy at all. The showroom was clean and inviting. They offered refreshments like coffee, sodas, ice cream and popcorn! The whole experience overall was a great one. I highly recommend you go check them out!
Also very helpful on out of state purchases and offered more that most dealers in AL. Definitely worth the drive.
After calling about a car I found online close to 5pm the night before Thanksgiving, Robbie and Justin were more than willing to help. They stayed at the dealership until I could get in town to see the car—mind you I'm almost 2 hours away. Once I got there, everything was in line for a quick, seamless purchase. I'm an extremely specific kind of person when it comes to vehicles and money. Sales staff is kind with great communication skills. Sales managers know what they're talking about and gave me every piece of information I needed. The final deal was fair for both parties and I left satisfied with my trade and purchase. This dealership was one of the best experiences I've had with car buying in the south so far.
