Magnolia Antique Gallery is a wonderful place to shop if you like fine antiques or if you are looking for that signature piece of furniture for your home. My favorite piece of furniture came from this store. The prices are a welcome relief from the high prices you will find if you go north to Franklin or Nashville. The owners, Colin and Sharon, couldn't be any better to work with. Magnolia Antique Gallery has easily become one of my favorite antique stores.
There are so many unique and beautiful antiques at Magnolia Antique Gallery. Sharon and Colin are extremely well versed in dates, styles, and origins. There are a number of original artisans and European Antique Dealers. This is a wonderful place for designers looking for that "it" piece. It's also a fun day trip from most anywhere in Tennessee, Georgia, or Alabama. You won't be disappointed.
The place seem small at first from the street, but looks can be deceiving. The building has 2 large floors of nothing but well diverse Antiques. You will see items from two large bronze lions to marbles you can buy for kids. In addition, to all the items from all over the world. The owners have a great deal knowledge on those items. If you do not know anything about it. They will be happy to educate you to the best of their abilities. The owners are very nice , respectful and down to earth people. I purchased a Russian jewelry egg from this place. At first I did not know much about the item. All I knew about it was that it looked like it would make a great gift. So I took it up to the counter and Colin(owner) began to educate me on the item I was purchasing. He told me the style, age, and also the song the music egg played. I would recommend this place to those who love old and quality antiques.
